🛁 Steam, Fragrance, and Magic

Steam came from the tub as my now-concentrated magical rose-prepared bath hit the water… The fragrance filled the room. I turned off the lights, had the full moon beaming in, and lit my candle. It was time to manifest magic.

The rose (La Rosa) represents love, beauty, healing, and compassion—and yes, even abundance.

The Full Moon is the peak of the lunar cycle’s energy: intense emotions, high energy, and full of magical manifesting moments. Anything charged by moonlight becomes powerful. Any magic cast on the night of the full moon is sure to work.

Together, the rose and the full moon create a potent magical combo that blesses us every June.

The Rose Full Moon is known by other names such as the Strawberry, Mead, Honey, or even the Lover’s Full Moon. The Rose Full Moon is also my favorite full moon of the year for many reasons:

• First, because it is my birth full moon.
• Second, because it’s the full moon under which roses are said to bloom the most.
• And third, because it is considered the sweetest of all the Full Moons of the year.

For Brujas like myself, this is prime time for attraction work—for everything we want to be sweeter in our lives, and to work things for our clients as well. I’m in love with roses too, so this Rose Full Moon is incredibly special to me.

For those who have a Gitana in their spiritual court like I do, this is the moon I charge something extra special under. When the Full Moon has passed, I place it on her shrine. It can be as simple as a cup of moonlight-charged water or roses placed under the moonlight—she will love it.

🌹 The Rose Full-Moon Ritual

A few days before, I start to plan my ritual. I like it to feel like a festive occasion—because it is! I’m about to get my magic on. It’s part of my birthday celebration.

Casting magic should feel exciting. The most successful spells I’ve ever worked were the ones I started daydreaming about a week in advance—step-by-step—almost like watching a movie. Getting hyped up…

🧺 Ritual Ingredients

• 1 dozen roses (color based on intention—mix & match!)
• Jar of cinnamon sticks (for attraction)
• Honey (as much as you want)
• 1 white candle (not in glass—you need to write on it)
• 5 strawberries (fruit of the month!)
• Fresh mint plant (local supermarket works!)
• A new mop bucket
• Rose Quartz (optional but great)
• Clear Quartz (optional but great)
• Moonstone (optional but great)
• Florida Water
• Rose Colonia
• Holy Water
• Colonia 1800

🔮 Step One: Set Your Intention

What do you want to be sweeter in your life? Write it down—one sentence only. Be shameless. No limits in magic.

Want more money? Love? Sex? Friendship? Business? Weight loss? Write it boldly.

Then write five wishes for your life—anything at all.

✨ Step Two: Gather Supplies

It’s time to get your magical tools ready, Bruja.

🧼 Step Three: Prepare the Rose Water

Make this the night before the full moon. This bath will be highly concentrated. Use a new mop bucket (not an old one, ever).

Clean the bucket first with soap and water, then with Florida Water, saying the “Our Father” prayer with the intention to spiritually cleanse the vessel.

Fill the bucket halfway with lukewarm water. One by one, remove rose petals and speak your intention over each petal before placing it into the water.

Example:

“I place this yellow rose in the water to represent abundance flowing into my life. My revenue increases double from last year easily. I place this red rose in the water to represent love and passion. A devoted faithful lover enters my life quickly.”

Mean it with your soul.

💧 Step Four: Break the Petals

Get your hands in and mix! Crush the petals into the water. Speak your intentions as you blend until the water becomes richly colored and petals are in pieces. Add more water if needed.

🍯 Step Five: Add the Magic

Now, add to your rose water:

• Half a bottle of Florida Water
• Half a bottle of Rose Colonia
• Half a bottle of Holy Water
• Half a bottle of Colonia 1800

Remove mint leaves from their stems and crush them into the water like the roses. Add Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz, and Moonstone if you have them.

Place this mixture under the Full Moon to charge—or by a window with open shades.

🕯️ Step Six: Ritual Bath Night

Next night = bath time!

Carve your intention sentence onto your white candle (use a knife, special crystal, or magic pen). Boil cinnamon sticks and pour the water into the tub. Add your charged rose bath to the tub.

Taste the honey on your finger and say:

“This represents all the sweetness in life coming my way.”

Then pour some into the bath.

Set your 5 strawberries beside the tub. Light your candle. Turn off the lights. Let the moon shine in. Get in.

🌙 Step Seven: Manifestation Magic

Once you’re in the tub, swirl the water. Take in the divine scent. Feel your body buzz with power. Hold the candle high and say your intention.

Ask “La Luna Rosa” for help. Visualize your life changing. Feel excited. See it clearly. Say thank you. Kiss the candle.

🍓 Step Eight: Make Your Wishes

Now the sweetest part…

Make 5 wishes—one for each strawberry. Say each one aloud and eat slowly. Enjoy the ritual.

When you’re done, say:

“It is done.”

Thank the Moon. Thank your spirits. Soak for as long as you like. Drain the tub. Return herbs and petals to nature. Your crystals are now supercharged.
