Soul Mates who are they really?

Soul Mates who are they really?

We hear people talk about finding their soulmates. Often, they want that kindred spirit that will be on the same frequency in all aspects. Once in a while, we find people that match our vibes in almost every part of our lives. They share the same interests, they share the same humor, the same goals, the same passions, the same points of view. There may be a few differences but overall, they seem to fit into our anatomical puzzle energetically.

These kindred souls, come to teach us valuable lessons. They bring us joy for a time and come in various forms. Soul mates can come as lovers, family members, friends, colleagues; the possibilities are limitless.

The connection is instant and there is an amazing chemistry that takes place. It’s like an instant zap of electricity that goes through your body. There is a passionate affection that you feel toward this person.

In romantic soul mates, there is such a strong connection that you almost can confuse this person for your life partner or twin flame. In some rare occasions, this turns out to be the case.

When you encounter a soulmate, your world changes. It’s brighter and passionate. It’s intense with emotions and joy. It’s like a honeymoon phase that never ends for quite some time. They bring forth the best in you when you first encounter one another.

Soul mates connect to your soul. The soul is what we can call the mind. It feels and holds in it what you deposit into it. So this person that come into your life, will bring out those aspects in your soul that mirror theirs.

It’s an exciting venture when you meet this person. Everything in your soul becomes heightened. You both being this journey of the soul together. You both come into each others lives to bring out those aspects and learn together the lessons in those areas.

Again, because the soul mate connects to the soul, they will bring out aspects that can be daunting. You both embark on this journey to really scrutinize what you “consist” of inside. It’s a spiritual journey. I’d like to think of soul mates as the ones that lead you to life partners or, if you’re really lucky, a twin flame.

Soul mates are the beginning of your journeys….and as with every journey, there are smooth roads, bumpy roads and some detours. But, you will arrive to the desired destination in due time.

Truthfully, it’s a whirlwind of bliss upon meeting this being. Yet, as with all honeymoons, there must come a time that the fluff ends. Once this connection is made, with the positive come the challenges.
Many people get soul mates and twin flames confused. Although, they appear to be similar, they aren’t. Soul mates are different people, often found in friendships and platonic loves. These souls are aligned with the same beat as your soul.

They don’t bring forth much peace; instead they challenge aspects of your life that need some serious realignments.

Have you ever loved someone but they have put you through so much hell; you can’t help but wonder how you confused that person for a soul mate? Well chances are, the heartbreak or challenges that unfolded were a soul mate experience.

Soul mates aren’t fairy tales. They are usually dramatic and chaotic. They stir up the stuff that you want to run from. These soul mate relationships will cause you to question every aspect of yourself. They enter your life for a season (usually not for long) in order to teach you the lessons for that season.

If you’re dealing with trust issues, that person may cheat on you. And that one act will challenge and defy everything you ever stood for. This moment will be the turning point where you have to choose to be bitter or to work through it and keep your heart open to love.

See, soulmates aren’t the pretty Prince Charming. No, they are the villains in a way. They will make you question everything about yourself. They will test your faith, your pride, your love, your will and your sense of self. They will come about to uproot your comfort zone only to catapult you into a new dimension of your divine self.

Soul mates are lessons to be learned. They are not always the life partners we expect. Soul mates take the form of friendships, romances, family members, strangers, co-workers to some animals. They will have so much in common with you and you will have a common ground. But, they will eventually be there to pull the rug from under you. They will force you into some serious inner spiritual soul searching. That is their purpose. People often want to find their soul mates and expect a life time. They may just end up getting a season of crazy emotions, roller coasters, some moments of peace, but overall, that relationship will end sooner than later.

I say that, although these lessons are not a picnic party, the lessons are priceless. You ultimately gain an innate wisdom and new perception that wouldn’t have come to you otherwise. Don’t push your soulmates away. Enjoy them while they are in your life. Take stock of the lessons they bring. And when, and if, they do leave your life, thank them and send them lots of light and love so they can continue to bless others with the lessons you’ve learned.

Enjoy this beautiful being and all he/she brings into your life. In the end, the experience was worth the ride!

With love….
